Quick FAQ
Microblading lasts for about 18 months, depending on your skin and lifestyle. You can do additional touch ups to extend the duration of the treatment.
Most people report little or no pain during microblading, but everyone experiences pain differently. Some people describe the feeling of microneedles in their skin like light cat scratches or papercuts. After the microblading treatment, you might experience redness and slight swelling - most people describe it as a feeling similar to a light sunburn.

Microblading is a two-step process: the initial procedure and the microblading touch up. The first session will take about 2,5 hours. After 6 weeks, you will need to do a touch up. This second session takes about 1.5 - 2 hours.
Painless anti-aging procedure that stimulates your skin’s own renewal processes
Did you know that our skin can regenerate and rejuvenate itself?
With the advanced techniques of microneedling, the body’s own healing processes are activated. The treatment stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, both key components of a new, youthful-looking skin. This method is perfect for anyone who is interested in facial rejuvenation, doesn’t want a surgical facelift.
Timi’s specialist is qualified to perform microneedling, the plasma eyelift (another non-invasive skin rejuvenation and tightening treatment) and the combination of both.

This cosmetic procedure, also known as ‘collagen induction therapy’, is a minimally invasive method used to rejuvenate the skin, for example around the eyes. The results are comparable to surgery, but the procedure is a lot more efficient and affordable.
During the treatment, microcirculation in the skin is stimulated with tiny needles. This helps the natural production of collagen – the main component of skin tissue.
What is it used for?
Microneedling can be used for skin tightening, lifting and rejuvenation. It’s very effective against wrinkles, fine lines and baggy eyelids. The treatment can also be used against (acne) scars.
How does it work?
During this procedure, the skin is repeatedly punctured with tiny needles. These micro-punctures are being created by hand, but don’t worry, it’s painless. The microneedles are very fine and only penetrate the skin to the depth of 0,2 – 0,75mm. They create hundreds of tiny, invisible holes and channels in the top layer of skin.
These microscopic channels within the dermis stimulate the production of collagen and the natural formation of new blood vessels, or ‘neovascularization’.
Healing process
Most patients experience slight swelling and redness as side effects, directly after the microneedling treatment. Most likely, your skin will be red, looking like you’ve spent a bit too much time in the sun. It might also feel a little tight and sensitive. After a few hours, your skin will start to feel a lot better. And after one full day, the results of the procedure will become visible. After 3 days your skin will be completely healed.
The best results will be visible after 4-6 weeks. Your skin will look smoother, less wrinkled and better hydrated. The effects last for a few months.
Timi’s specialist recommends a minimum of 3 treatments, spaced 2-4 weeks apart for optimum results.
